These patches either have not yet been applied or they have totally failed. It is taking 30 SECONDS to check all eight of my e-mail accounts now. It used to take 2 seconds max on my iPhone last year. If an incoming E-mail to your "@shaw.ca" ID is identified (by Shaw) as being "spam", it is moved into Shaw's "Junk" folder -- not the "Junk" folder within your E-mail client. Dec 4, 2024 · If "new" messages were being sent through other ISPs (Gmail, Hotmail, Telus) and Shaw's mail-servers are "down", then the protocol is for those "remote" mail-servers to "retry every XX minutes over YY days" before declaring "mail is permanently unavailable". So, customers of those ISPs must wait. Thus, you don't see messages that (temporarily) could not be delivered to Shaw's mail-servers.
